Contrary to popular belief, game day lifts are not exclusive to football and have been growing in popularity throughout all of athletics over the last few years. We have been doing game day lifts with our athletes for some time now, and they absolutely love it. It may seem counter intuitive and against the grain but if done correctly it can give your athletes and your team a huge physical and a mental edge during the game. There are several benefits to lifting the day of the game. 

We primarily focus on exciting the nervous system and eliciting a hormonal response. This is going to make us more reactive, have quicker reaction time, be more powerful and explosive, and give us a boost of energy throughout the day. In these work outs, volume is kept to a minimum but we have a very high output in terms of our intensity. These workouts are intended to PRIME the CNS and the exercises reflect that. You'll see a lot of powerful exercises and plyometrics, while also adding in some activation and mobility needed to perform at a high level. Our aim with these lifts is to have the athlete feeling better leaving the weight room than they did when they entered the weight room.

That being said, we don’t want to drag out a long workout. We want to be very intentional with training. These workouts should last somewhere between 30 to 45 minutes including the warmup.We want our athletes to come in, warm up, wake up, work out, and get out. Our goal is to get these workouts in at least 6-8 hours prior to game time to allow our bodies enough time to recover, adapt, refuel, and hydrate.

All our material is sent digitally through email. 

We do this for several reasons. One is to keep costs down for our customers. There's no way we could offer all that we did with the training programs if we made DVD's and hard copies for that low of a price.
